Q: Will this device work to keep my status on Slack "active"? Even if the screensaver locks?

Great questions, my hopes were high but it failed for me. If you do not have admin control of your computer this will not work. My computer was issued by work and they control all installations thus causing this to not work. I choose instead to purchase a mouse with jiggler instated! The best purchase this year works awesome.

Q: Do i have to plug in and plug out from PC to make it work or pause ?

You have to plug it in only, just leave it in and your PC will stay active until you lock the screen.

Q: will this keep usb game controller awake?

The only thing this kept open was TEAMS interoffice messinging app. Everything else still timed out and closed, did not keep mouse active at all!
