Awesome Activity for Kids - Totally Unique and Fun!
This kit is super fun! I had ordered the decorative bottles that they also sell and came across the Science Kits. Such a great interactive idea - especially nice for the rainy days. It's an experience from the moment you open the box. Everything you need is there in cute little cutout spaces. The directions are easy to follow with easy to understand facts and information, as well as activities for the kids to follow. Not only is this fun for the kids, but you can get some extra medium and use this kit to create your own seaweed art in a jar you like. Love it! I am planning to buy more at Christmas - great totally unique gifts for kids in the family.

Didn't Work Out
I think 3 stars is generous, but user error may have come into play.It did not go well. I have separate ulva culture going very well, so I think it's reasonable to ding this some stars.I'd much more highly recommend this kit- Algae Culture: Six Algae Strains- For classroom investigations.I don't like being negative about science kits, but this one didn't work out well, and I've done others like the one above that do really great.Algae science is great and it's a fun thing to do.
