Great quality for a low cost.
I've been using my projector on a wall for 2 years before finally purchasing a screen. I know there are many pricey screens out there, and I was leery of purchasing a lower cost screen. But after ordering this screen I am very pleased with this buy. The price is reasonable, the quality is excellent, and the installation was simple and quick. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase.

Good value for the money, but don't expect it to work exactly like you think it should
Picture Quality: I was surprised to find that the brightness and vividness of the image was just as good as my Elite fixed screen. I put one overlapping the other to compare, and if anything this drop down screen looked a little better! Curling on the edges: Yes, it absolutely does, but the curling mostly only affects the black border. It makes the screen look cheaper but you aren't going to notice when you are watching something. Is there deformation of the screen (and by extension, the image?) yes, but it is very little. I had to really look hard, and then I wondered how much of it was just my imagination. Black vs White casing: I am guessing that this was a COVID era supply issue, as all of the complaints about getting a white casing on their screen are from 2020/2021. Mine came in black, as expected. Covering a window: Works fine. I don't see a warning sticker saying "don't", either (as another reviewer stated). That said, I would recommend having blinds behind the screen; let's not be stupid about it! Ability to stop where you want it to: Not bad, as long as you don't mind an inch or so of imperfection. It obviously does not have memory. Retracting: It says in the manual to NOT just let the screen go, and to guide it back up. I find that you literally have to HELP it go back up by lifting it slightly when it starts to stick. I can live with that. The retracting is intentionally slow. Shipping concerns: ANY big roll down screen is going to require an appointment for delivery. Someone suggested that the screen's casing would bend if someone shouldered the box. No way; It comes double-boxed and well packed. It also isn't that cheap of a casing. What they didn't tell you: The specs left out the size of the black side borders, which are 1 and 3/8"s inches thick, thus making the screen (including the border) 106 and about 3/4" wide. This screen just perfectly covered my 106" wide window. I roll it up every morning and down every evening without issue. Pro Tip: When installing, take your measurements but only install one screw. Put the screen on that screw and then hold the screen up to mark for the second screw. Wall-mounting tip: If you are having trouble finding studs and you don't trust your drywall (got kids?), mount a board across the wall and then attach the screen to the board. However, if you plan to be gentle with the screen you probably won't need to bother. Mine is mounted into drywall--no studs; no backing board--and I used the included screws and mounts. It is fine. Pros: Great image and affordable. Easy to mount; I mounted it solo. Cons: Looks a little cheap when not in use, and needs to be babied when retracting. When pulling down it does not stop on a dime. This is not an expensive screen; what did you expect? I am quite happy with the product and would highly recommend to the budget-conscious.
