What's not to like?
These have an elastic waistband with belt loops, a zippered pocket in the back, and two zippered pockets in the front. I was really surprised that they fit so perfectly. I am 5'7 and 145 lb, and these are a size medium. The logos in front on the black pants are barely noticeable. They are a little crinkly, but I would expect they would be since they are water resistant. They did soften when I threw them in the dryer to remove the wrinkles. I haven't worn them yet, but the quality appears excellent and they are lightweight. I like that they have a narrow straight leg, fit well around my hips and in the rear, and they are the perfect length. I am looking forward to wearing them when it rains on my walks!

Very nice lightweight hiking pants
I bought these plants for hiking in warm weather. I haven’t worn them hiking yet but did try them on and took notes while checking all the features of them out with a critical eye. I was impressed with them once I put them on. So glad I got the right size. Not tight, very comfortable. They stretch nicely when I squatted down in them a few times. The knee areas have a sort dart sewn into them, helping to give extra as you kneel down without constricting the knee area at all. The waistband is comfortable with a lot of give, very stretchy. A durable zipper with a metal hook closure. Overall the fabric looks and feels very durable. I’m 5’5” and weigh 198 lbs and got the XL. I’ve been losing weight over the last few months but feel I can still wear theses pants at this size even after a 12-20 lb loss so I don’t think I’ve wasted any money getting the size I got. Hope this helps anyone that dreads buying pants online like I do.

Great pants!
Wore all summer and fall. Very comfortable dry quickly. Stretch to fit. Only thing didn’t like were zippers on pockets with white writing . Distracts from the look. Otherwise these pants/slacks could be dressed up or down

Madly, madly in love with these pants UPDATED REVIEW
I bought these in July 2023 sort of on a lark. I have a lot of walking pants and they got folded and put away. I also bought the shorts from the same brand (both in Navy). I wanted walking pants for my daily morning walks that had multiple deep pockets. Summer turned to fall turned to a cold wet San Diego winter. I maybe never put them on. Until March 2024. I'm 5'10" and about 150 lbs and bought the large. Perfect fit. There is a bit of a fabric squeak when walking but I don't care. They are so dang fashion-forward too! They look expensive. They make my walks better. I realized that I was in love. I went back to my old orders, searched for PANTS and found the order from last summer. I just ordered 5 more. All different colors. They look really nice with a long sleeve white T. Highly recommended!UPDATE: after a few months, I began to feel like the Large was not quite a large. I'm not a huge person but for walking pants, I want the elastic hook waist to not feel tight and they began to feel a smidge snug. When I read that these were a Japanese large, I felt that. Last night, I decided to order an XL to try them. And now we are in perfect pants land again. I like a little comfort and have tightness for jeans (sometimes). I think what I'm saying is consider sizing up.

Poorly Made
I wanted to love these pants. The material is great for long pants coverage that's super lightweight, comfortable, and isn't too hot, but they have failed me every time. The first time I wore them one of the seems ripped out. The next time the button clasp broke. The third time another seemed came undone. I upsized when I ordered so they were loose so I didn't think these issues would happen. I have been able to fix all the problems by sewing it back together and finding a new clasp, but for only 3 uses I am very disappointed with how they held up and know they are unreliable now. Also since I sized up they are extremely too long so if you're short keep that in mind with sizing.

They were perfect for one season
At first they were the perfect field pants. I work in agricultural research and these were perfect because they’re lightweight, dry quickly, and had a nice high waist with strong elastic that kept me from accidentally mooning people when I bent over. I ended up purchasing 4 pairs.Unfortunately within a few weeks of the next field season beginning the first pair started falling apart at the seams. After 2 months they had all basically disintegrated. The seams were glued/sealed with heat, so they can only handle so many washes before something gives, usually the seams at the pockets, but once it was the crotch seam, which made for a very unpleasant day of work.
