Lauten Audio LA-120 Small Condenser Microphone Pair - Black

My mic locker is filled with mics costing several time the price of this mic. Don't be mislead by the bargain price. This mic equals or betters the performance of much more expensive mics. Buy a couple now before the price goes up (it's already started). This condenser mic is going to be very popular. Listen to the sound samples on Lauten's website. You will be impressed.

The mic exudes quality. It feels good, looks good and sounds fantastic. A no-brainer.

Clear sounding mic for vocals, however I found it to be far too bright and sibilant on rap. Not bad, not great. My AT 4040 sounds similar but is not as sibilant in the high end.Keep in mind this varies by voice/instrument!

This mic is very impressive because of its clarity, tone, and range of frequencies that it picks up. Works great in my home studio and as long as you have a treated room, it will serve you well.

Mic has a very detailed sound and is very rich in tone. I think it is excellent for vocalist. I have not used on any instruments, but I can imagine it will excel well. If you want a mic with that radio ready sound, you should definitely go with the la 320. On top of it all it is a family run company with exceptional customer service. Has been one of my favorite mics, I've owned Neumann tlm 102, Rode nt1, Audio Technica 2035. This is very detailed and rich like Neumann but more affordable. Its balanced like Rode but more rich and not so dull. Good for singing and layering. If I had to give one word it would be "Polished" has a very polished sound. I am impressed because many mics do not fit my voice but this one does. Looking to own a dynamic mic as well very soon.

I purchased this about 7 months ago and it's been a fantastic mic for both studio work (music, VO, video production, etc.), as well as doing online interviews and meetings. There are two on-mic settings in which you can roll off the low or high end to help optimize your natural voice.Make sure you purchase a basic pre-amp, such as the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or above + a decent XLR cable (6 feet if you're keeping it right in front of you; 15 feet or more if you think you might need to position your preamp in different places around your environment). I have been looking to upgrade for a while now and had heard about Lauten Audio from a friend of mine. He had let me know that they are a local, family run business with microphones that can rival and top the best of them. I went to his studio and he let me hear a couple of the microphones and I was instantly blown away! This LA-320 in particular was perfect for me at the price point. The quality build and sound out of this is amazing and I am so grateful that I have one. Eventually when I'm able to save up some more, I am for sure going to buy one of the other microphones. Thank you Lauren Audio for this insane microphone.

DON’T BUY! I really loved this mic... until it broke on the third use. I’ve had it since January so of course I’m beyond the point of getting a refund. These are made so poorly, don’t waste your money. I am so disappointed in the longevity of their piece of equipment for the price.

I bought this as a budget-friendly all-purpose condensor microphone. It is well-built for the price, and while I wouldn't say it excels on any particular sound source, it gives very usable results on pretty much anything I throw it on (acoustic guitar, high-gain electric guitar. percussion, vocals, etc.). It has a nice amount of low end for a condensor, and the top end isn't harsh or brittle-sounding. I got mine in 2018 when the price was about $299, and in that price range there aren't many other comparable condensor mics that come to mind. I've used my LA-220 in some way or another on every recording I've done since I've got it!

This microphone is beautiful for vocals.. It is so clear and sharp. The recordings we made with it were beautiful and I really loved the tone it gave my voice.
