What is the inseam for the petite size?

The petite inseam is 28.5", while the regular sizes come with an inseam of 31".

Does the drawstring go all the way around? Or does it start at the sides with the back being elastic?

The whole waistband is elastic but the drawstring starts at the sides. For me they are very comfortable
