Listing says "PC Disc" so I bought it. Had a browser block virus so needed something to boot up without going on-line. Disc included was a thin piece of cardboard with an on-line access code, totally worthless for my problem. To add insult, the fake disc is labled "Why No Disc? Had to buy a FixMeStick instead. Once that found and removed the virus, I installed AVG. Now I get constant pop-ups asking me to buy AVG tune up. I would never buy this again.

AVG product installs with great difficulty, the fails with Microsoft 10 upgrade
First, understand that I have a very technical software background (BS degree in computer science), so this review is not from some clueless customer. Also, I bought the product before the 2017 version came out, (but AVG, always upgrades you to the latest, anyway.)My experience started out with a marathon install, that took two tries and several hours to complete, before the product said I was protected on my first computer. I bought the 3 device version, and when I installed it on system 2 & 3, I had nothing but trouble and never got full protection on them.I would still have given 3 stars, if a little over a week ago, I had not had a catastrophic startup on my first system. It would not boot, and had the dreaded "Starting Watchdog initialization" problem, which was presumably caused by an incompatible Microsoft 10 upgrade.I found a great fix by the contributor named uByte on the Microsoft community forum, that gave me a step by step process for removing the product. My problem went away. I removed the product from all three, then took PC magazine's recommendation and bought Webroot's SecureAnywhere, which installed and scanned in less than a half hour for each of the three systems.Buyer beware!
