I bought this at the suggestion of a friend. I have been growing a beard for going on a year now and have had difficulty with keeping the bathroom tidy during grooming. If you ever have trimmed hair regularly, you know what I am talking about. Hair sticks to the sink and floor and is extremely difficult to remove.First, I want to say, I didn’t have a lot of expectations about this product. It seemed somewhat gimmicky to be honest. However, when I got the trim trapper, the quality was apparent. It is made out of a nylon type material that feels like a parachute. The product is attached to a draw string pouch for easy storage. It works exactly as advertised: hook two locking suction cups to the mirror and you have a “hair bib”. My favorite feature is the stretchy side material that forms a barrier so hair doesn’t fall off the sides (functions like the stretchy material on the side of a diaper). It very easy to setup and pack-up (a few seconds for each).I highly recommend.

This bib is a good idea, but poorly executed. Only about half of the snaps that hold the neck end of the bib in place actually work, the rest will not snap and fall out as soon as inserted. At the other end of the bib are a combination hook and suction cup. I am clueless as to what the hooks would attach to, but I can say the suction cups will not hold to a mirror without first wetting and then great effort. Even then one of the will release and fall, followed by the other, well before I am done trimming my beard.There is a pocket on the outside of the bib which I suppose is for holding trimming implements. When the bib is attached to the mirror it is either slightly negatively sloped, so anything inside slides our, or, once the suction cups let go, it catches beard trimmings and has to be carefully emptied or the trimmings will accumulate.I was able to find a male and female snap that would work together, so it does stay on my neck, albeit loosely, allowing trimmings to drop through, and then by using rubber bands secure some degree of draping in front of me, so I can make it function, minimally, but was certainly disappointed that it was so poorly made.

As a bearded monster that is constantly trimming and shaping, I was very intrigued when my Fiancé got this as a gift for me. I knew her reasoning for buying it. It would benefit the both of us as she is a clean-o-holic and it would save me the headache of being nagged at for not getting each and every hair cleaned off of the sink and counter, ha! It does do the job of catching all of trimmings, HOWEVER, the trimmed hair does not easily slide off of the material as one would hope or expect. SO, instead of having a messy sink, I now have a messy floor when trying to brush off the hair trimmings. Or even worse a messy toilet when trying to brush everything off in the good ole water bowl. Also the suction cup attachments are a tad wonky also. There are small hooks on the back of them that seem to be there to fully attach and detach the cups to and from the mirror. They don't do either though. If it weren't for that, and the material I would really like and recommend this product. Boyfriend says the suction cup thingy doesn't cling to the mirror at all. Not the best one on the market. Do not purchase.

Works as advertised. Easy to set up, a little hard to put back in the bag. Probably my fault because I didn't pay attention as to how I took it out but I just rolled it up and put it away.

Great product. It does what it is supposed to do, respectively keep the hair trimmings out of the sink and surrounding areas. Easy to install on the mirror and to collect and clean. Also, the incorporated storage bag is welcomed.

I thought this might be the easy way out to stop my wife from bitching about beard hair in the sink... but it's clumsy to use, the suction hooks are not reliable, and it still tends to make a bit of a mess. I just learned to clean up after myself instead.

My brother has a nice beard and had trouble keeping the suction cup (1 of 2) stuck to the mirror. My mirror is clean and he tried it dry and wet. Neat contraption but the only downfall is the efficiency of the suction cup(s), however, the design and everything else is neat and fancy. The material seems to be decently durable and the fabric would be almost hydrophobic, I bet because it seems/looks to be like that of a salonists drape.
