Engineering Tape Measure
This is the tape measure I was looking to get for work. It has the 12-inch per foot increments and also 100ths of a foot markings. This tape is helpful for storm and sewer projects. Most elevations on these projects are in 100ths of a foot. Yet you also have the normal inch measurements, too. The tape case is comfortable in my hand and is well made.

Does what we bought it for.
I like how light it is. I bought it to measure for construction use. IT does as it is supposed to. IT appears to be durable, I like the lock.

Great tape
Hard to find a tape measure with both inches and tenths of a foot. Used then all my adult life doing land surveying and engineering work.

A necessity
The only thing I don’t like, is how hard it is to lock.

The locking mechanism is horrible, it takes two thumbs to push it down to lock the tape in place.
I purchased the more expensive tape believing that I would receive better quality, and sadly I did not. I was very disappointed with the tape measure and should have returned it. The lock is almost impossible to push down. I have purchased several Lufkin tapes in the past, but this will be my last.

Measures up.
The only thing I don't like is it has inches on one edge and tenth on the other. I do layouts and prefer working with tenths and hundredths. But other than that it is a great tape.

Wrongly advertised
To put it simple, it is not useful.
