WILL CLEAN ANY TB STAIN! Better Than Any Natural OR Conventional TB Cleanser!
I had what I feared were rust stains come from out of the blue in one of three of my toilet bowls (going forward, may also be abbreviated as "tb"). It wasn’t just a ring at the water line, it was everywhere the water touched, including in the tank. No amount of scrubbing with any manufactured product, conventional or natural, nor any of the DIY concoctions I found via Internet, would touch it; not even the popular conventional "toilet bowl cleanser with bleach." After weeks of trying both homemade and manufactured cleansers along with specialized tools and methods, I was almost resigned to having the entire toilet replaced. Then, a YouTuber I follow mentioned in a video that she had finally found an effective tb cleanser for a mystery tb ring that she couldn’t get completely clean. It was Mrs. Meyers (aka MM)! Mind you, this channel isn’t about cleaning! (The hostess is very personable and will chat with us before starting her videos, whether live or recorded.) She had apparently previously mentioned an impossible to remove ring in her toilet (I didn’t see the original video). I knew of Mrs. Meyers cleaning line and its general effectiveness, but I had never heard that the tb cleaner was exceptional. (With many environmentally friendly lines of cleaning products, I've often found that there tends to be one product that is not only the best of the entire line, it’s also the best of any brand's comparable product.) Well, since one bottle of MM tb cleaner is less expensive than having an entire tb replaced, I decided to try it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it in any of the stores I normally frequent. In fact, I rarely find a company’s entire line of products in a conventional store, at least not in my area. I usually have to go to one of the few indie shops in my city that sell exclusively organic and environmentally friendly products. Since a lot of indie shops didn’t survive the pandemic, I ran a general Google search for it in my area and was fortunate to find it here on Amazon for a decent price.Long story short, it worked completely the very first time I tried it! I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t even have to scrub very hard! It just worked as you’d expect a good cleaner to work! Not only did it work well, I found that the mystery staining stopped after the third use! I checked the tank itself and yep, the mystery red-brown coating was still there! I didn’t understand why it was on the walls of the tank but no longer coated the bowl, nor did I yet know what it was, but I no longer stressed about it either. I still continued to look for the source of the staining; the answer found me within a few weeks of finding out about the MM cleanser. While reading a thread about a completely unrelated topic on Nextdoor, a sentence from a post I glanced at jumped out at me. It was a miscellaneous heads up from a neighbor who had experienced trouble identifying a mystery red-brown substance coating the inside of her toilet tank and as a result, staining the bowl of a brand new toilet! It turned out to be red clay! I was so relieved and grateful for her persistent sleuthing! As an experiment, I went back to the conventional tb cleanser to find out if the stain would eventually reappear in the bowl and it did after several weeks. I don’t know why the clay appeared in only one of the two upstairs bathrooms I have, but I will simply count myself lucky it was only one and not all three of them! I really can’t recommend this cleanser enough! Mrs. Meyers, like most environmentally friendly products, costs more than conventional brands but I believe it is more than worth it, for the cleaning power alone! Additionally, there are some conventional brands that now offer environmentally conscious options, but I will always buy from a company like Mrs. Meyers when possible because I choose to support companies that have done the right things for the right reasons from the start; when it wasn’t easy, popular, or as profitable as it is now. I don’t know if other natural cleansers would work as well on such a difficult to clean substance; I can only give testimony of my experience and pass along the (reported) experience of someone I trust to be honest about her experience.

Clear liquid no blue stains
Works well. The blue cleaners stained my toilet. This is clear which is now a must, and septic safe, very important. However, the smell to me is terrible. I almost hate to use it the smell is so awful to me but I will keep using it as i have not found a better replacement.
