It's the perfect size for you guys trying to mount your UMIK-1 microphone to a camera tripod.You need to remove the adapter already present in the mic holder and use this one instead.

I was looking for a 1/4 to 5/8 thread adapter, and found this one. It’s a perfect fit for my HyperX SoloCast mic. The boom arm I have has a 1/4 inch thread, so this is exactly what I needed. Easy, simple, works well!
