battery last a long time with both lamp and flashlight running simultaneously. in 20 min it charged my Samsung galaxy s4 from 70% to 75% which is pretty good for solar power. crank works good if you need power fast. great bugout addition. speaker for radio is loud and clear. wish you could turn the radio volume lower cause the lowest setting is very loud. the construction strength and size is about that of large tv remote so not too bad but i wouldnt want to drop it too much. i was pleasantly suprised that the lamp is fine tune brightness controllable. the flashlight is not very bright but about that of a cheapo 3x AAA flashlight. orange circles light up red when alarm is on. comes with a stand for lamp mode

This device has exceeded my expectations. Not only do I use it camping and to charge my cell phone when no other charging source is available, it has become my reading lamp at home. I especially like the dimmer knob and it functions as expected. Since I keep it by my bed I have also used the flashlight at times. The solar charger and the hand crank work as expected also and the unit charges rapidly with a usb power source as well. The radio is, well, a radio which I seldom use and the emergency "siren" can be quite suprising at times as it is located on the same switch that is used to turn on the flashlight. The only reason that I gave this unit four stars instead of five is that mine does not fit as snugly on the base as I would like and I believe that the base should also have a compartment that could hold all the charging adapters that come with the unit. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

okay as a lamp its pretty good..As a Solar Charger.... HA!!!!! The charge lite will indicate but with levels where ever its current at... but wont charge for nothing...Crank is okay... but only good for short light display if was dead/low.And my Lamp button came off already so now I have to jimmy it on and off.

I like it a lot. The support looks cheep and its not very stable but the lamp itself looks well made. I hope it lasts. Its not great for charging your phone but I did not expect it to be. I use it for reading and radio listening. The radio volume is set way too high and can't be turned down very much. That is the only complain I have so far.

You can recharge this emergency tool 3 ways: solar, usb port, or by hand cranking! It has a flashlight, a reading light w dimmer, red emergency lights and siren, a stand, plus a very strong FM radio. I live in hurricane alley in Florida, and this tool will meet all my needs for when there is NO electricity. It is a fantastic purchase for the price! No need for batteries, or propane, or liquid fuel. No fumes, no mess, and no costs after purchase.

The adjustable night-lite is probably the most usable feature on the lamp. The flashlight is ok and it seems to be built ok, but a little flimsy.

This is useful as a flashlight and radio. The USB charger is not functional.The dynamo doesn't seem to charge effectively.

I was a little remiss to purchase this, but the function and design of this tool is great. It is well suited as a survival tool and functions in many forms. I think that this was a great purchase to my survival kit.
