USB Inline Voltage and Current Multimeter Tester - Bus Powered

This is my review of this product, ordered this item coz I have remaininggiftcard balance to used, instead of buying same device from other sitefor less 6$+ and you will get 2 units.This device is useful for me monitoring the USB power output from my USBAC adapter, this is useful specially using 3rd party/Class C (Cheap :) adapters,coz sometimes this adapters have output beyond the required voltage that maydamage your Phone/devices,Since this device is Class C you should expect that this is not a good quality,not all are bad but you should expect issues will ariseWhen I received it I was excited and start to use it with my Genuine Appleadapter.. and guess what the device did not turn-on, I thought there was aSwitch but I don't see any, tried to moved it back and forth..and Tadah! its working..Ooops its turned-off again, Tsk tsk probably lose connection/contact insideContact amazon and started a return process, no replacement but you canrepurchased again once they refund you, return shipping is free.Overall, recommend this product but you will get what you paid for, not all are badmaybe you can get a good one but since this is Class C expect this will not last long.Quality: 2/5 Price: 2/5

Very handy tool for my tech toolbag, and for only $7! Ever wonder why your phone won't charge on that USB adapter? Now I know that it doesn't supply enough amperage! Also good to tell if you are getting enough voltage to push through a long USB cable. The display switches between supplied Voltage and Amperage draw in Volts and Amps every 4 seconds or so.I'm using it mostly to calculate how long a battery can run or charge devices, and so for it's been accurate enough for my simple tests.Pros:SimpleVoltage and AmperageCons:Wish you could manually switch between voltage and amps (usually I'm only interested in draw)Amperage is in Amps, and with USB devices, I'm usually looking for miliamps (not a big deal, move the decimal place right 3 times)

Bought this item to evaluate the MANY cheap AC/USB chargers I have amassed over the years.It works perfectly, just as described. Just 2 problems:-0.5 stars because the USB plug is very tight. It's a little frustrating having to yank on this to pull it out of the charger. But despite this, it doesn't feel like its going to break or fall apart from my pulling.-0.5 stars for the display. It switches back and forth from the Voltmeter and Ammeter readouts every 2 seconds. This is a bit annoying since I'm mostly trying to monitor the current (amps), and lose the reading every 2 seconds. A simple button to switch displays would have been much more convenient.

Dead simple to use. Showed me how well my chargers are performing (Apple, Samsung, solar panel, car charger, etc.) tl;dr apple device + samsung charger or samsung device + apple charger = slow charging. Matched brands = rated-speed charging. GoPro car charger + samsung device = rated speed charging.
