This looked novel - the ability to work with Lightning or MicroUSB - without an adapter? Well, it works. I find this cable to be well made, and to work great.I've had cables that would connect to either device before, but they had dual ends - one for Apple, one for Android. Not this one. It has a single end that is very clever. It has the lightning contacts on the top, and still manages to fit the MicroUSB contacts inside. I was surprised it worked, but it does. The cable charges every bit as fast as my normal cables. Data transfer is also good; I don't really see any difference when using this from the OEM cables that came with the phone.The construction is well done. These are cloth bound cables (rather than plastic), which tends to last a lot longer. They have good reinforcements at the critical junction where the cable goes into the end plugs. The color of the cable is more gold than the ends, but they look good together.Summary: Amazing, a single connector that works with either of the two main phone worlds.
