Terrific! Another Winner for Stevens!
Karen Stevens' much anticipated second book on Montana hauntings was well worth the wait. Penned in her hallmark style - a pleasant, engaging, and always respectful narrative voice - Stevens once again takes readers on an entertaining journey sure to please anyone interested in ghosts or just enjoyable armchair travel. As a long-time and professional ghost hunter, Stevens knows her subject well. She shines in More Haunted Montana. As in her first book, Haunted Montana, she presents a well-rounded look at each haunted site represented. Readers are given an introduction to each site's history, then an account of the phenomena which includes eye-witness reports along with Stevens' own experiences during her on-site investigations. A feature I really love is her ending commentary which highlights a special something extra about each site that can be enjoyed during a visit. These tips include things like the excellent homemade pies at the Copper Bowl Cafe in Anaconda and the Dude Rancher Lodge in Billings or the proximity of other historical sites, often haunted as well.Karen Stevens is the real deal. Unlike some sensation-hungry TV ghost chasers who enjoy provoking spirits and then run screaming from haunted buildings at the first sign of something going bump in the night, Stevens and her fellow ghost hunters work in a professional manner, always calm and respectful of spirits and premises. Anyone interested in how true ghost hunters work, should read Karen's books.Stevens is the gold standard in her field. No one does it better.More Haunted Montana should be on the shelves of every ghost enthusiast. The book is also a must-have guide for visitors to Montana. Paranormal lovers and skeptics alike will find a wealth of fascinating places to explore within the book's pages: insider tips offered by a local who obviously loves her home state.Highly recommended!

Glad this exists
Montana is a state without many ghost stories, so I was glad to find these books. They are clear, concise and fun to read, and it's nice to spread a little spookiness is a state not known for spookiness.

Can't Wait Until Next Book
Living in Billings, I am aquainted with Karen and some of her assistants. Her lectures on ghosts, annually around Halloween, are well attended.Whether you look up the sites mentioned in the book in a road atlas, or go visit them yourself, the experience will be wonderful.

From non-believer to paranormal fan!
Haunted Montana and More Haunted Montana are fabulously written books in that they are both a tour guide and a historical reference for paranormal locations throughout Montana.Author and paranormal expert Karen Stevens has taken me from a non-believer to a confirmed paranormal fan! Her fascination for everything haunted began in her childhood while raised in a home with an `unseen occupant'!I've found her writing style to be very helpful in that each chapter includes a paranormal rating indicating the level of ghostly experiences and activity level (low to high). Her format is easy to follow due to her meticulous historical research and witness interviews. Stevens writing is so vivid that the ghosts seem to lift off the page as she describes the details of a specific location; no two ghosts are the same! I'm on the edge of my seat visualizing each aspect of whole area as I read each chapter! Her stories inspire me to venture off the beaten path as I travel around Montana just to visit the ghost Stevens mentions in her books. (All locations listed in her books are open to the public.)Stevens is a true professional in that she approaches each site as if it's sacred and asks the spirits for their blessings before she begins her investigation. And another sign of a true professional paranormal investigator - Stevens was born on Halloween!
