FABULOUS HIGH QUALITY CAMERAOrdinarily I wait a while after I used an item I purchased before I leave a review. However, I am so ecstatic with my new camera that I felt compelled to leave my review after only two weeks of usage.My favorite sport is mountain climbing and hiking and I'm literally in love with nature. Hence I desperately wanted a camera that would capture the depth and breadth of mother nature in all its splendor. I knew that a GoPro Hero5 would certainly provide me with the quality I was seeking but spending roughly $400 was out of the question. When I saw this Review Action Camera on Amazon I was utterly amazed at the affordable price but of course was cognizant of the adage "you get what you pay for". But I decided to take a chance and proceeded to purchase it. Was I in for a stunning surprise when I had the first few pictures developed. When I look at my photos, it immediately brings to mind the words of Natalie Angier who said: "The beauty of the natural world lies in the details." This camera affords you the opportunity to see those "details" in all its splendor.In addition to breathtaking photos, this camera comes with all the right tools to enable you to have hands free. You can strap this to your helmet or your handlebars or whatever mode you are traveling in. The camera also comes in a plastic container so that it will be waterproof. Best of all it's a SONY. It has many other very attractive features you can read about on Amazon's webpage. I'm usually not good at following instructions but with this camera it was a breeze. Perfect clarity. You simply can't beat the price for all the uses you can get out of this camera.

Great little camera, it's so far the perfect camera for my sports activities. I got everything just like it was described. Giving it a 5 star rating, not only for the camera itself, but also because of the low price. I personally feel it deserves a high five.When the camera arrived I was so excited, It was just before my mid winter vacation. I opened it and when seeing the dual screen and extra slim size of the camera it made me feel like I'm holding a GoPro. And then the real fun started, I used it on my vacation and was very impressed by the nice and clear videos. I didn't expect such great quality for the price I paid. The shock proof case and the extra battery was very useful, it really enhanced my experience. At first, I was very disappointed to see that the waterproof lens is scratched. I immediately contacted the company in regard to the matter and I very promptly received a response that it has a protective film on the lens that is very discreet. Therefore, it appears to be scratched. I removed it and I was relieved to see the clear lens. The camera comes along with a variety of very useful accessories, everything you can imagine in one box.What I went crazy for is the 30 frames per second, 14MP which is a much better resolution than the regular HD cameras, the remote control and the camera's built in WIFI that allows you to connect your camera with your smart devices through the EZ iCam app. You can set the camera features and pick the recording modes as I did while I was skiing. I didn’t have to hold the camera in my hand while recording. My phone did the job for me very well, and you can even review your footage and share your pictures and videos through your smartphone.I was able to use the camera while it was charging in my car. My friends and I took beautiful pictures and videos while driving. We had a wonderful experience.

The first camera I received worked perfectly until the seal on the underwater case broke. This ruin most of the pictures/videos from our honeymoon. I contacted support and they happily sent me a new camera. I thought this was the start of a 5 star review. Well, I haven't had a use for the new camera in the past 6 months because I have been playing with my drone, so I left it in the case. Now a week before we are heading to Costa Rica, I decided it was time to charge the toys for some beautiful videos and what do you know, the camera does not power up without being plugged in. I charged the batteries overnight and still no joy. I know I should have checked as soon as I received the package but when your home only a couple days a week, there are more important things to do! I will chalk this up as you get what you play for and hopefully a warning to others.

Great video footage but if your not still camera shots are fuzzy .... one of the batteries sent out was a dud ... still waiting for my replacement battery,, two weeks now .... update battery received awsome little cameraRemote batteries went dead , finally got new batteries and now it wont funtion but lights up.... what happened???

Would have given it a 5 but the remote control didn't state that it wasn't water proof. I used it under water and now it won't work. The camera works fine but the remote control won't work and can't find how to another one because it's impossible to use on a selfie stick or attached to your body without the remote control.
