NEEWER Chromakey Backdrops, Double Sided Black Screen and White Screen

I purchased the NEEWER 4-in-1 Collapsible Pop-Up Backdrop for my photography and video projects. The backdrop is made from high-quality, double-sided fabric, offering versatility with four different color options. The collapsible design makes it easy to set up and store, and the included carrying case adds convenience for transportation. The backdrop provides a professional look and feel, enhancing the quality of my photos and videos. The fabric is durable and wrinkle-resistant, ensuring a smooth background for various shoots. However, I found the size to be larger than anticipated. The unfolded dimensions are 5 x 6.5 feet, which is suitable for full-body shots but may be too large for smaller spaces or close-up work. I recommend measuring your available space to ensure it fits your needs. Unfortunately I had to return it much to my sadness as I needed it right away. Overall, this backdrop offers excellent quality and versatility. If you're working in a spacious area, it's a fantastic addition to your equipment. For smaller spaces, consider the dimensions carefully before purchasing.

This is an excellent backdrop that provides solid portability with a greenscreen background that you can easily take with you. Pros include the quality, small size when collapsed and as it is on a frame, most of the wrinkles in the fabric come out quickly. Cons, it can be difficult to collapse at first (particularly for those who are shorter), it will not work well for a large group and its size makes having good separation from the screen difficult. Five stars if it is what you need in terms of size for carrying or storing this great quality product.

Great backdrop. An absolute pain in the a** to close

UPDATE on 10-5-2020: I received a holder clip from LimoStudio that the customer service guy at Neewer suggested and it worked perfectly with my existing stand and the Neewer backdrop. Oh, did I mention that I received the new backdrop last week ... in pristine condition. UPDATE on 9-28-2020: Neewer contacted me directly to resolve my issue. They are going to send me a new backdrop and I am going to return the original backdrop. Further to this, they are helping me figure out what to do about the stand. What an awesome company to go to this extent!! I bought this to use when I have zoom meetings. It does work well for that. However, when I received my background, it looked like there was a rather large spot from getting wet. I notified the company and they reduced the price by $5 ... wow. Anyway, the spot is not showing up when I use it. I bought a stand to use with it that barely holds it and can easily fall off. The one I bought is the "Emart T-Shape Portable Background Backdrop Support Stand Kit 5ft Wide 8.5ft Tall Adjustable Photo Backdrop Stand with 4 Spring Clamps". I do not recommend buying this stand for this background. I am going to have to figure out a better way to hang it with the stand. Last but not least, it is a pain to fold up. I had to watch a video on YouTube many times before I got the hang of it without watching. I encourage you to do that because the screen is so large that it is better to be able to fold it up and put it away.

The green/blue screen is a really well constructed. Blue on one side and green on the other. It's a good idea to watch the YouTube video "How to fold a portable green screen -SIMPLE!" for tips on how to fold it back into the zippered sleeve. It did not come with instructions for that. I will suggest the zippered sleeve could be more robust. This one is very thin. It is not wrinkle free, but the wrinkles stretch out to almost negligible after a while if you leave it open. Would buy again.

I bought this to use as a background for photo headshots. It's a basic item with both pros and cons, without discussion of its price. PROS: after you watch video directions (find tuts on Amazon for popup backdrops) you will understand how to fold this item and it will become manageable. It is a plus that the backdrop comes with a nylon storage bag: it makes traveling and storage less of a chore. Loops sewn along the backdrop's vertical and horizontal edges make it easy to hang from a stand. Once the backdrop is opened and fully extended, lingering fabric creases and wrinkles will smooth out. Two different "colored" faces, one white, the other black, will lend you some versatility for its use. The fabric has a matte surface that won't create reflections when a light source is aimed at it. The white fabric side is OK, as long as you keep it clean. CONS: The nylon storage bag for storage and transportation is not very durable. It was sewn together sloppily. There are threads dangling near the edge of its zipper. My biggest gripe is that a semi-sheer fabric is used on the black face. The black face is not a dark black; it is not opaque. When a subject is placed in front of the black facade, the naked eye will observe dithering/moire patterning on the black fabric face. A camera will pick it up, too. As for "construction" quality, the fabric along one edge of the interior frame had a small friction tear the very first time the package was opened so the item could be inspected. I needed the item for a project that used the white side, so it was passable, and not worth sending back for a replacement. Once it has been opened and extended, don't move it around a lot because it can't be washed in a machine, just spot cleaned. It will also avoid creating any friction rips or tears in the fabric.

I love this since it's big without being too big for a compact space, the elastic band keeps the screen taut with no wrinkles and I love it for creative ideas without the headaches in post production. The screen is one uniform hue for simple chroma keying, it comes preassembled and all you gotta do is unfurl it from its travel case and hang it on some green screen stands from its hanging straps and your ready to go. Easy to use, good quality.

I love this backdrop! I’ve been using it for self tapes and it looks quite good on camera :) By the way, the loops are not velcro, they’re fixed loops and you have to thread any bars that holds up the screen through the loops, which can be fidgety at times. Two issues: - it arrives pretty wrinkled. Not a ton of wrinkles per se, but the ones that are there are tricky to get out. It took a lot of steaming & ironing to get it in alright - it’s difficult to fold back in (plus you’d risk re-wrinkling it), and it needs space to store if you leave it open. Other than that it’s a massive upgrade from the flat sheet setup I’ve used before, especially when combined with a sturdy t-stand (trust me, that was a big help and upgrade from the normal backdrop stand i had before)

I bought these to use as backgrounds for self tapes/social media etc. are as described and easy to use and setup. However, had to read the manual and had lots of trouble putting them back in their portable carry bag again. I bought two different backgrounds and Amazon sent them in two different boxes when they could have all fit in the same box. They were also wrapped in plastic which is such a waste and so bad for the environment- shame on you Amazon!

I had high expectations for this Neewer chromakey backdrop, but unfortunately, the product was quite disappointing upon arrival. When I opened the package, it strongly felt like it had been used before. The fabric wasn’t neatly folded and had an excessive number of wrinkles, as if it had been stored carelessly or returned and resent.

I have really good things from Neewer but this backdrop arrived damaged. Some wrinkles are normal but even before ironing them you could see the fabric was damaged. I couldn't return it because I really had to submit a tape in the following two days so I used it as it was and had to hide a lot of stuff with the framing. Maybe it was just this one, I don't know but I don't recommend it based on how it arrived

Its a good product there are only wrinkles on it if thats what u call it so its not a glad surface i hope i describe it good😂
