My first foray into laying laminate floor, so I opted for this cheap bit of kit and it's turned out to be brilliant.The individual items are all required and are all very good, particularly the knee pads and the really strong pull bar.This kit is a must have.5/5

Overall, pleased with the purchase. The styrofoam knee pads worked surprisingly well and are an absolute must when laying wooden flooring. The mallet is comfortable to use; it's small but packs a punch. This metal tool is robust, doesn't bend, but needs a bigger area (twice the size) to strike against when 'tapping' the boards into place. Some boards don't just 'tap' into place! Unfortunately, the small round 'pads' underneath are completely redundant. Tip: cover the metal bar with foam/padding and secure with electrical tape, otherwise it WILL leave scratches on your nice new wood when you hit the bar.

This is a good piece of kit for its intended purpose, in my case laying a small real wood floor in my hallway. It comes with everything you need including a mallet, pull bar, tapping block, spacers and most important knee pads, you may want to consider buying a better quality pair of these if your doing a large area, but for small task they're fine. 30 spacers seemed a little excessive really, I only ended up using a handful, the mallet is OK and nicely weighted without being to large and heavy. The pull bar is metal and is heavy, the tapping bar is plastic.I didn't want to spend too much, because as is the case for most people its a single use item and never going to see much use again.

Great package of tools fitting laminate flooring for the 2nd time ever & the range of tools provided made it easy. Even comes with hard wearing knee pads! Comes in a sturdy cardboard box which is great for storing the tools when you're done.

The pulling tool is very useful. Its nice and strong, shows no sign of losing its shape. The plastic tapping bar is also useful.But the spacing wedges and knee pads are useless. I have bought l shaped spacers that don't fall over and provide a firm stable support for the vinyl boards I am trying to lay. They work a lot better.The knee pads provide no relief. I have tried to use them, I now have very very sore knees which makes continuing to install the vinyl flooring painful and difficult to complete. You also need a cloth around the back of your knees to stop the elastic strips from rubbing (and there is more elastic next to your skin behind the pads at the front. I am now using a cushion to protect my painful knees. I wouldn't buy this set again.

Bought this as a newbie at laying laminate floors. Everything was good quality and worked well. Next time I do a floor though I'll buy a heavier mallet, it was a workout banging together some boards.Could do with more spacers too. Ran out about 2/3rds of the way around a 3.8m x 2.4m room.

The spacer is the only thing that's good for the set. Hammer and tapping block were ok but easily damaged, the knee pad will hurt your back joint due to the strap design and the worst part of the set is the tapping bar will damage your floor, need an extra cloth or pad to protect, the including felt was not enough.It will get the work done with some compromise but would not recommend for daily use.

First time gutting out carpet and installing planks! This was a MUST have!!! I installed approximately 400 square feet of planks and this was essentially all I needed in terms of tools! Fantastic buy!!

I had to return this kit because the floor coulnd not wait , the house was sold and i had to hire installer to get it done. The tool kit felt sturdy. If i ever have to do flooring i will reorder.

Grazie a questo kit ho potuto installare tranquillamente il parquet laminato in casa mia.leggi nocchiere non le ho proprio usate quindi non posso esprimere giudizio ma sui restanti componenti assolutamente sì. Il martello in gomma è ottimo per poter assestare qualche colpo senza lasciare segni sul pavimento.la prolunga in ferro è utilissima per poter tirare per bene i piccoli pezzi o i listoni messi quasi a filo della parete. Questo è il componente più utile a mio giudizio. I vari cunei possono servire per spesso rare perfettamente il parquet dal muro e la parte in plastica sagomata fa molto bene il suo lavoro nello spingere i listoni. Sottolineo solamente il fatto di fare molta attenzione a quando si picchia perché se si inclina un po' il supporto in plastica verso l'alto, si scheggerà inevitabilmente il listone con il risultato di doverlo sostituire. Nel complesso è stato un ottimo acquisto che custodirò con gelosia.
