The house I moved to two years ago has warm pipes running underneath the washing machine. I believe this causes the machine to get very smelly - it's not something that I have had before, I always had my washing machine in a cold kitchen or a lean-to. So I'm looking for a product that keeps it fresh, and I don't think this is quite up to the challenging job. I used 2 tablets every week for a month and it's a lot better but still smells a little. So I'll carry on looking.

These I bought in bulk to use on a regular basis to prevent the washing machine from smelling giving it a good clean to help my clothes be as clean and as fresh as they can be.

I have used these a couple of times and they don't remove as much grime as they make out. They black gunge around the seal remained, however I cleaned this all off manually after cleaning so perhaps it loosened it. It certainly prompted me to give the machine a good clean myself even if it didn't do it for me! The odour was improved so perhaps the pipes were well flushed through. I used with a proper cleaning cycle on the machine.Would use again as it seems to make the machine more hygienic but don't expect it to work a miracle!

Was sceptical when ordering, I put two tablets into the drum and ran through on a normal wash, they got rid of most of the accumulation on drum so ran again with two tablets and it came up clean and smelling lovely. I will use regularly to keep my machine clean. They don’t get rid of all the black on the rubber seal though.
