I had the honor of meeting Jim, Andrea and their children and his parents and can tell you that they are some of the most sincere, helpful people I've had the pleasure of meeting. You can tell that Jim's intentions are first and foremost to help you make a better life. He gives away some of his best tips and tactics. He is continually updating, upgrading and upsizing his membership site mysilentteam.com. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, he will get us another steep discount on a great product or create another course and add it into the member area as a freebie. And let me tell you, the value of many of Jim's "free" courses could be and are sold for hundreds of dollars to non-members.Additionally, he has hosted the BEST events I've ever attended. I've had the honor of going to CESI and CESII. I can tell you that the people make the difference. Sure they have products, resources and coaching to sell, but it is a soft sell and you WANT to buy their offerings because you can tell that all of his fellow marketers are there to help. You know why? His showcase name says it all - Real People. They're not professional speakers with a spiel and a pitch. (Of course, the keynote speaker is usually a professional.) The best part is that they are all willing to help each other out - not just at the event but in the Facebook group. I will agree with those that came before me that this book is very very helpful and the author Jim Cockrum is probably the most honest and trustworthy internet marketer on the internet today. He is not out to "make a buck", but he really wants to help others succeed and does not only through this book SSM. I have read every copy of this book since the 1st edition and can tell you that the information is practical and helpful. Does it give you all the answers to all your internet marketing questions? No. But it guides you to many options of what to do, what not to do, how to start if your are a beginner and better yet, what to do if you have not succeeded.I refer constantly back to this book for not only inspiration, but also guidance. As one critic said it is nothing but a long landing page, well that is not true at all. Yes, there are links to other products and pages in this book, but those are put there to help you find more specific advice and help. I have never regretted buying anything from Jim - he gives you more than any other marketer out there and you can trust the information he gives you is workable and up to date. Jim, thanks for all your advise and help - it is keeping me going even when it gets a bit tough. Trust this guy and get this book if you are really interested in earning addition income whether it be through online selling or even an off line business. His advice on what not to start with is just as helpful and will help many avoid costly mistakes.

Excellent book! I have been a part of Jim Cockrun's Proven Amazon Course since August 2015 and just read the book earlier in November 2015. The information contained is extremely valuable especially if you have ever tried to earn any money online. I struggled for years and years trying to become financially self-sufficient - (live that 4 hour work week life) - but only made a few dollars. I joined expensive programs, did private labeling, affiliate marketing, etc. - Nothing! Now I am actually making a profit and do believe by the end of 2016, I will have achieved the dream after nearly 15 years. If not for the information in this book that he rolled into several courses with the willing assistance of some of his best students, I would still be in dream mode.Be warned though - If you buy this book, join his (more than affordable) courses, join his Silent Team Facebook group(s), forums, sign-up for his newsletters, you will ONLY get more honest, actionable, reliable advice and wisdom not only from Jim (yes, he is always advising his Facebook groups), but also the vast knowledge of his community as well. What makes this book unique is Jim Cockrum's take on the whole business of relating to your customer's needs and requirements, as well as talking to them in a way that they can instantly relate to.If you've ever been stuck for ideas of how to 'talk' to the subscribers of your email list so that they instinctively trust you and turn to you as the 'go-to' expert then you'll find the most natural way to do it spelt out in the pages of this book. In fact email marketing fills up what is the biggest proportion of this book as, in my opinion, it should do.What you'll really get from reading this book is how to improve your business by discovering new ways to find and communicate with both potential and existing customers. Throughout the book Jim gives examples from his own background in Internet Marketing as well as quotes from other online entrepreneurs who have successfully used his ideas.The latter part of this book deals with a variety of online business ideas that you'll find useful if you are either starting an online business or want to expand your existing business. Early on Jim talks about 'multiple "hands free" income streams' and how this has been the foundation of his online success. Quite correctly he then goes on to caution against trying to set up multiple streams of income in the beginning but to take each business idea, one at a time, and fine tune it until it becomes successful before moving on to another.If there is a fault with this book it is that, by the time you've finished it, your mind will be overflowing with new ideas and you'll probably be wondering where to begin. I'd encourage a second and third reading of the whole book, taking notes as you go along, until you get a clearer picture of what you need to do based on what you want to do.As Jim points out, what you need is enthusiasm and passion for your business. This book shows you the best way to transfer that enthusiasm to your website visitors and customers.

The shark-infested waters of Amazon courses are full of people teaching unworkable business models, and glossing over the difficulties. Jim Cockrum is refreshingly different.Firstly, Jim clearly has many years behind doing and teaching ecommerce, (including Amazon, eBay and Shopify).Secondly, Jim explains multiple possible business models, including those low risk and easy ones that work for beginners in the Space.Thirdly, Jim is honest about the challenges of various different models, and the fact that building a business is Work, fun as it may be.I’ve already read this book twice and will keep coming back to it as a source of wisdom in a space where short-term thinking is sadly the norm.

Book had some interesting points which totally made sense. However, author is suggesting certain strategies how to make money online and then uses the same strategies on the reader (making him follow links, requests readers email and etc.). It seems like the author is making himself as an online money guru who knows every business model and tries to sell courses on each subject he discusses. Book might be appealing to complete newbies of the e-commerce field. For more experienced lot I’d say it’s a waste of time.

Sadly, it was full of all the usual nonsense that the so called online gurus say. Little to no substance. Don’t waste your money.
