Happy with it, but placement is critical
This got rid of a lot of clutter of wires. The low impact styling is much less klutzy than the previous powered unit I had, and it works somewhat better. Not perfect, but I'm definitely very glad I got it. Advice: try different placement locations before permanently attaching it. Even a 1/2 inch change in location can make a huge difference in reception, at least in my case.

This is a great little antenna
This is a great little antenna. I have an older DLP TV and I just lay it on top. It's not perfect, I still have to slide it from one side of the TV to the other sometimes; depending on the channel I'm trying to watch. But overall, it does the job and for 20 bucks and not having to mount it outside, I'm pleased.

It does work...
This "gizmo" does work, at least for short distance broadcast signals: I now get 9 channels from local stations, which is 9 more than before I bought it and more importantly to me I can now watch PBS. There are other stations in the advertised 50 mile range but I guess my back room is not where the antenna should be (pointing to Philadelphia, that is).

Amplifier Wiggles
The detachable amplifier is always wiggling Loose as I adjust the antenna. It seems to work better without it. I should have just gotten the cheaper one that didn't come with the amplifier. That's what I'm using now and it's perfect. So all in all this product works but in my case I didn't need the extra amplifier in fact it made it worse.

Works pretty good
I get about 25 channels. When I did the scan it said I have 40 but they only work if I hold the antennae in awkward positions. I'm happy wiwth it because at least I get most of my local channels and I could get rid of cable as I mostly stream everything. I hate Comcast/Xfinity as that is my only option.

Mediocre
Anything cheap is worth what you pay for it. Not true in best cases, but it definitely applies here. The first impression after unpacking was "how can something so small have good reception?" Well, it can't. I have several different antennas at home and I bought this on a lightning deal to put it in the window of my bedroom where I have amplified rabbit ears that are big and clumsy, don't get all stations and need adjustments for others. Well, this one has worse reception and some stations I get on the other set I couldn't get at all no matter how I turn it and where I put it, so it's going back.

Does what it says..
I purchased this antenna for my son t.v. took about 1hr and some arm work but I ended up with 12 local stations on this 50 mile range antenna. Now give or take some might thank it's not enough but for me that is enough for him. I still think it's a good investment P.S. I'm in major populated city

Exceeded expectations
I live in a rural area and did not really expect a lot of channels for our area but I was very surprised. This was for a spare tv but it worked great and exceeded my expectations. Good product for the money.
