Q: For as well designed as reviewers claim, why isnt this considered a 4 season tent?

Exactly what the other answer here says. 4 season tent is double wall tent, meaning the tent main body has the ability to be completely closed/solid walls, all mesh covered, but able to open areas of mesh panels to utilize for venting to avoid condensation, and to also vent for summer/hotter weather camping. The rain fly is the second wall, so that you have two separated walls of solid material to block wind and hold on warmth.

Q: Even though I see a statement that this is the new version (2) the images are for version 1 (Vents at the top instead of the doors). Which is it?

Side vents are the updated version. Testing on YT is positive for that design.

Nope i ordered the 22$ footprint ive used it through 2 storms and have stayed dry as a bone
