Not pecan pie... Healthy, but I prefer the Raw Revolution bars. These have an odd after-taste. Maybe my batch was in the heat for too long...

I now like it.
Takes time to get accustomed to the taste and consistency of the product, I now like it.

Yum
Super yummy. They don't really taste like pecan pie but there is a hint of it there. Very palatable.

Save your money!
This bar is the worst thing I've ever tasted! And given the price tag, it was an expensive bite-threw the box away. They're disgusting.

basically a date bar (so it has a lot of natural fruit sugars)
I got this in a subscription box. For all the "Paleo" and "Pecan" and such in the title, it pretty much just tastes like a date bar to me. If there are nuts in it, they are in very small pieces. It also has the typical texture of a date bar but is not super sticky (just a little bit sticky). These are gluten free, raw, and vegan (which can be unusual for "Paleo"-labeled snacks), if any of those are important to you. I do question the "low carb" designation, though. This has 19 grams of sugars in one bar! Those *are* natural fruit sugars, but 19 grams in one product is quite a lot! Here are the ingredients since I didn't see them on the product page: dates, pecans, hemp protein, goji berries, coconut, unrefined coconut oil, vanilla extract, dried spirulina. One bar has 220 calories, 13 grams of fat, and 6 grams each of fiber and protein. Sodium is quite low, which is nice. This is also relatively high (for a snack) in vitamin A and iron.In the end, I think I'll be sticking to Quest bars (which have a better macronutrient balance with more protein and fiber and much, much less sugar). This is not bad, but a date bar is just not what is going to serve me best with my current dietary goals, which involve getting fewer calories from sugars.
