Read me before purchasing
I'm a bit of an audio engineer, and the only positive I can say about this mic is sound quality isn't too bad. The wire that comes with this mic is the cheapest wire I've ever seen. This microphone will run on phantom power button when doing so the switch no longer works. When the microphone is running on two AA batteries the switch works but with good amount of latency. Especially when turning this microphone off, it will fizzle out over three to five seconds. So if you are looking for a microphone with an immediate off switch this isn't for you.

Too good to be true
Great price, but low quality microphones. Bought 2 of these microphones for my students. They worked great for the first week, by then they both started working intermittently. I knew I was in trouble when I took them out of the box for the first time and internal screws feel out of the microphone. I just returned them both.
