Has some issues but overall nice HDMI switch
I like the low profile and attractive design of this HDMI switch. It offers plenty of inputs ports, more than I would ever use. It also offer features like SPDIF Digital Surround or Hi-Fi Stereo Audio Output port as well. It can even support 3D video. However, I needed it expand my HDMI inputs for an HDTV I have in my bedroom that only had two HDMI ports. I wanted to hook up my XBox One and Apple Fire TV.The picture quality is superb. No running lines, ghosting or snow - pure HD quality. However I was disappointed that it does not come at least with one HDMI cable to use to connect to your TV. I had the HDMI cables to connect my devices, but had to run out and get one to use to connect the switch to my TV. Also make sure to have an extension cord because the AC power cord is very short.I like the idea of having a remote. However the remote does not respond all the time. I don't know if it is interfering with all the other IR sensors around it like my convertor box, Blu Ray player, XBox One, etc. There are push buttons on the switch box to switch channels manually. Another issue I noticed is that the TV screen goes black after switching the channel. The picture comes up and then goes black and comes back after a few seconds...strange.
