Awesome Piece of Movie Memorabilia!
I received this statuette as a gift from my bestie. I probably wouldn’t have bought it myself, as it’s rather pricey; but if you’re into this sort of thing, I’d definitely say it’s worth the cost. I compared it to several good images from “The Maltese Falcon,” and it appears to be a very accurate model of the famous movie prop. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was taken from a mold of the original. It really is a beautiful replica. The bird is very heavy — listed at fifteen pounds, and certainly feels it. Mine didn’t come with the burlap sack and Chinese newspaper, as some apparently do. No matter, this piece of memorabilia makes for a great conversation piece and interesting decor. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Replica
1:1 reproduction exactly like the black bird from the 1941 film. Beautiful resin exterior and weighted with a lead interior. If anything, it may be heavier than the movie prop or Bogart had strong hands or I’m a weakling. Maybe some of all. If you’re going to display it on a wall shelf, be sure the shelf is really secured to the wall. I wouldn’t trust a shelf not anchored to studs. Also its 15 pounds so if it falls it could really hurt someone. I display mine on my office desk. It is beautiful and draws compliments.

The stuff that dreams are made of
Delighted it lives up to the description. Packed with care and included a black and white picture from the movie. The pivotal moment the main characters converge on the statue. Order from Haunted Studio.

WORTH EVERY FREAKIN PENNY
This came in the Sea Bag burlap sack, stamped with the name of the La Paloma, and with a tag for delivery to Sam Spade, San Francisco. Opening it, it was further wrapped in twine and - nice touch - Chinese newspaper, just like the movie. I know, because we had to watch that scene to prepare for the ceremonial unwrapping. Thanks to Haunted Studios for making this an experience and not just a delivery. The bird itself weighs ton, and looks and feels exceptionally well-made, and matches the movie prop nearly perfectly.....with a magnifying glass and some patience, you could spot a difference, but even on close comparion to a photo still from the film, this is pretty much a dead ringer. Even Kasper Gutman couldn't tell 'em apart. I don't see any buyer's remorse in my future. Well worth the premium price for a conversation piece that I've wanted for decades.

Great quality!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son, who has become a Humphrey Bogart fan through his grandfather’s influence. He LOVED it! It is excellent quality and came with a certificate of authenticity and a glossy 8x10 of Bogart holding a Maltese falcon. Pleased with the purchase for sure!

The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of
A wedding anniversary present to my husband. The Maltese Falcon is one of our "desert island" movies (one of the 10 that we'd have to have if we ever got put on a desert island :)). I opted for the lead filled version, and probably should not have...it's HEAVY. That said, he and I LOVE IT!He's wanted one of these for years and on our 40th, I gave him "the stuff that dreams are made of...." because He Is....

This item was exactly as described, a seemingly exact replica of the real Maltese Falcon. The ad promised a burlap and old Chinese newspaper wrapping that was not included in mine .Really nothing but a lead weight, but the wife is happy :-) so I'm happy.
