Not the easiest to put on
Sling did the job but it takes some doing before one learns how to put it on a patient.I had 3 caretakers use it and they finally learned how to do it but it's not real easy.

Extremely hard to get on.
If this sling had a buckle to detach and reattach we would actually use it more. My wife has a subluxed shoulder and to maneuver her shoulder into the sling is too painful for her. If it had a snap type buckle it would be infinitely better. And yes the initial fitting was done by a physical therapist.It does do what it is supposed to do and does it well. GivMohr sling
This sling was recommended by the rehab center for my daughter who had a stroke and had a subluxation of the shoulder. She wore it shortly and then ordered a different one which suited her needs better. She found that the hand device made her fingers go numb and was uncomfortable. The sling did, however, take some of the pressure off her shoulder which is what it was designed to do.

Works great when walking to keep arm from flopping
Works great when walking to keep arm from flopping. When sitting down for a long period of time it prevents re-adjustment of placing the arm in a different position. Would still buy it for the work it does do.

It does it's job.
A bit hard to adjust so that it was properly supportive and comfortable. Also...... geeze they charge a lot of money for these asistive devices. Having said that though, this was the best price online. It does the job.

The sling has helped the therapists work with him better.
My husband had major stroke that left his left side without feeling. The sling has helped to hold his shoulder up in place and his arm in the right position. He now has feeling in his arm and ;leg. The sling has helped the therapists work with him better.
