After I installed 2, the isolators twisted and since they are just compressed rubber at the mounting bolts, over tightening them will shear off the rubber. I added a diagonal brace to each side of the opener to install 4 instead of 2 isolators. The 4 isolators made the install much more stable (no more twisting) and they can handle the weight of the motor long term. I added 1.5” X 5/8” washers to both sides of the isolators to help the bolts inside press against the rubber. I added locking washers to prevent the nuts from unscrewing without over tightening. And lastly I added a rubber bungee cord to help take some of the load off the isolators and provide extra insurance. I ordered these for use on my Harbor Freight paint shaker 5 years ago and they worked perfectly reducing vibrations. The only reason they failed was because I didn't make sure the mounting nuts were tight the last time I used it.
