Don't waste your money. I bought the Taclight for $57 and the Peak Plus for $17, both on Amazon. Side by side and operationally they are the same unit with the same lighting power, at least to my observation. Military quality? I see no difference in the two Units. Save yourself $40, an easy decision.

Excellent flashlight, brightest we have found. I purchased my taclight because my mother had purchased several a few years ago and though we have purchased many flashlights over the past few years, these are the best LED flashlights we have found on the market, they have held up well and we have not had a single one stop working or malfunction, which we can not say they about any other flashlight we have ever purchased! Far too often you purchase a flashlight only to discover they are cheap junk and do not have near the Lumens advertised and we return them all, but not these original Taclights! Beware of the many imposters on the market, such as the Bell Howell, they are not as good, not as bright, cheaply made and end up malfunctioning! Basically they are all bad imitations of this awesome flashlight!Look closely at the Logo, many imposters have a similar shaped logo, some even have the shape upside down.Purchasing direct from Buytaclight.com is expensive, they cost $56 to $150. Amazon has the best price, an amazing price!

This is a bad-a** little flashlight! It's a little smaller than I thought it would be but it's super bright. Definitely get the rechargeable battery though. I started off using disposables and those wear out kinda fast. I got the recharger pack now and it's perfect.

The flashlight was awesome for the first year, but then it just quit working. I have NEVER spent $58 on a flashlight and thought it should at least last for 5 years. Heck - I have cheap $2 flashlights that have lasted for over a decade. In addition to the expensive price when I bought it, it's also supposed to be a tactical flashlight. Clearly it isn't. It has sat on a desktop in our home office for over a year - nothing tactical or crazy about that. And yet is still quit working. Now the price is WAY down from when we bought it. Still - don't spend the money. It's a piece of junk!

This Flashlight is amazing. It rained very hard one night and I needed to check my pool from overflowing. The light eliminated so powerfully that I could see straight through the trees behind my pool. This is an incredible flashlight. Additionally, it will serve as a great home security. It's so bright, that if you shined it someone's eyes, they would have no choice but to look away. It would even blind them for several seconds. Enough time to protect yourself. Awesome product.

Coyotes in my neighborhood so this light is great when I need to take puppies out for toileting in the middle of the night. No need to blast with spray, this light blinds for a moment so I can leave the area.

This was for my daughter and she uses it all the time. It is true however that it does use batteries quickly so buying rechargeable batteries is the best option here.

Handy, not bulky and have very good lighting power....and, good pricing!
