They will last forever. I had one for over 10 years that I used for coffee, and I decided to get a matching set. I love that they look so good that I can leave them on the counter. I appreciate the clear top because it allows me to see what's inside, and I like that they close tightly and securely.

Expected the metal to be a bit thicker, but the look and seal are great - still serviceable in any kitchen - but not 'Sur la table' quality. Just seems like inexpensive grade metal, but at least they are stainless

Great containers with well fitting lids and seals. Perfect for kitchen countertop use or even bathrooms for cotton ball’s, Q tips etc. highly recommend

While these look good, they are not reotely as durable as the ones I bought them to replace.The previous ones were more than 10 years old, and their rubber gaskets started to fall off.The new ones have a hard plastic lids, that has already cracked in one (just from the pressure of its own clasp).On the one that I'm using to store salt, the bottom is showing small rust spots (so much for stainless steel).

I have decided to replace my 45 year old (probably toxic) food storage containers with something safer.I didn’t just rush into the choice I made. I’m not good at making decisions. After literally a month of comparing glass vs stainless and all the different types of containers and lids I finally decided to purchase this brand.The seal is great. The canisters are not too thin but they are not heavy when filled.There was a lot of residual polish on the interiors of the canisters but that washed right off with a little soap and water. It’s not like I would have used them prior to washing anyway.I’m very happy with this set. So much so that I have ordered another identical set as well as several other canisters in different sizes made by this company.
