I haven't yet used this gochugaru to make kimchi as I'd planned, but since its been staring at me from the spice cupboard anyway, I've used it to sprinkle over food in place of typical flaked chili pepper and even black pepper. This gochugaru is delicious. In comparison to typical red chili flakes you can use much more of this product without making things overly hot and add the full sweet taste of the pepper. This is destined to become a staple in my kitchen from now on.

This item is very enjoyable to use with the extra padding on the handles. Smooth (and quiet) operation whether used in low rows or lat pull downs. Perfect construction - no goofiness in weld properties or construction. Makes a nice addition to tools of the body builders arsenal. Very reasonably priced - delivered fast - well packaged. Not much more to say - it's built like a tank. In some circles - probably worth twice the price.

I love hot spices, to a point. When your tongue catches fire and you wish for death, that's too hot. This is not that, it's hot and has a good flavor. Not as hot has the green Japanese pepper, or Jalapeño flakes. Kinda smoky.

Avid bodybuilder, needed this piece of equipment to accompany my Spud Inc lat system.. it does exactly what its intended for and as heavy and durable as it is, I doubt that it won't last a lifetime. Great Product.

Terry's wife here. Bought this after reading semi poor reviews on cheaper models about rough welds & chrome paint flaking. This handle is well worth the $25 I paid for it. No rough edges, no paint & the welds are almost seamless.

This product worksout great especially when I'm working out because that's what it's for so that's why I use it.

This is the only organic gochugaru I could find. It is very tasty, not too hot, and the main ingredient for making kim chi.

I bought this to make homemade kimchi for the first time. Amazing flavor, not a bad price for such a large jar and a bonus it is organic!
