BP223 Icom BP223 Alkaline Battery F-M2A-M32

I have used ni-cad, then expensive Li-ion Battery packs that only last one season. These batteries are inexpensive and dependable. I have 4 units and all work well. The 2 radios at the top of the photo have Li-ion BP-252 fully charged packs that do not stay on. The 2 lower radios have BP-223 battery packs and work well. The BP-223 is more dependable in my experience.

I've been needing one of these for a long time. I'm glade I ordered it.

Just what I needed!

Purchased this just as a back up. Someday present batteries will not hold charge. Expect the problem to develop when I need the radio the most. That is when I will love the new AA battery holder
