Okay - here is the truth about these sheets from a verified purchaser. Yes, they are scratchy at first..These are really good sheets - but you have to wash them several times to get them soft. I LOVE high thread count cotton sheets (who doesn't?) and have been purchasing expensive sheets from Bed Bath and Beyond for years. I am used to dropping $150-$200 on good, soft sheets. When I saw these, I hadn't even paid attention to all the "I was offered these at a discounted price for an honest review" reviews. If I had noticed those, I might not have purchased. It seems like a scam.Anyway, once I received the sheets and washed them, I thought they were scratchy. I didn't sleep AT ALL the first night we had them. My husband said he loved them, but I think it was because we had just spent $200 on new sheets, so the dollar sign was convincing him. I was planning on sending them back, but I searched online about how to make sheets soft. After washing them 3 times with vinegar and regular detergent, they were less scratchy and ready for use. I slept a little better that night but knew they would eventually be as soft as I was hoping, once my body oils (ew) softened them up. And two weeks later, they are great. I love them. I love them so much I told my mom about them and she purchased my husband and I another set for an anniversary gift.So yes, they are scratchy at first, but once you wash them in vinegar several times and sleep on them, they are VERY good sheets.I was not paid to leave this review and I paid full price for my sheets! :)

Simply Perfect
Perfect, the sheets in every way are perfect. The fabric itself is crisp, smooth and the weight is perfect. The Egyptian cotton laundered perfectly. The bottom sheet has a generous depth and the elastic allows the sheet to fit snugly with no wrinkles, smooth and perfect. The packaging is beautiful and would set off a gift, well.......simply perfectly!So Simply Perfect, I purchased a second set.

Comfort and First Class Sheets
These sheets r to die for. They come in a beautiful box and a bow that even makes them more special. With every washing they get softer. They fit so well. Sleeping on good sheets is a pleasure. U will love these.

Silky, smooth sheets
These sheets are lovely! Slightly heavier than most sheets I own. I know several reviewers said they were scratchy.I did not find this to be the case. I washed the sheets one time before use. They were silkier than my other sheets.I'm enjoying them and they look nice, too.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these sheets! I bought them as a Christmas Gift and when they arrived I was so impressed, I had to order a set for myself. VERY IMPRESSIVE packaging and presentation. The sheets are top shelf and I highly recommend them. I wish they came in other colors, but the white is beautiful! I have now washed them many times and they are outstanding!

Disappointing so far.... Starting to fall apart after 2 washes.!!
Just received these sheets, washed them once and have them on. This is an early review but I will say that my initial feeling about the sheets isn't good. I find them to be stiff, even after washing, not soft at all, they have a long way to go to meet the expectations I have after paying this much for sheets.Now after only 2 washes the hem has come apart on the flat sheet at the top. I'm trying to get this repaired/replaced but haven't been able to get in touch with the seller. Downgraded review to 1 star because I find this unacceptable quality and service.12/8 Update:I contacted Viable and they were very quick to note they had a batch of sheets with a bad hem. They expedited me a new set of sheets. They were very friendly to work with and as long as the replacement sheets hold up I give them 5 stars for making this right.

Sleeping like a baby
Finally I'm getting my sleep ...it's all due to my sheets and the deep pockets keep me from having to remake the bed each morning..I love them so much my husband ordered me the charcoal set

this was a gift to my daughter and her husband. They raved about the sheets and said they were the softest sheets they have ever slept on. I was so happy that they liked them so much.
