Not stable
I like the automatic folding feature and it holds a charge for a long time.We have ramps leading to the outside. the scooter struggled to get over the threshold and tipped over on the ramp and I tried it several times with the same result.I took my 89 year old mother shopping and the scooter tipped over leaving the curb cutaway to the street. I am very grateful that she don't get seriously hurt.I would not recommend this scooter for anything but for indoor use in your home.I would not recommend this scooter at all to be completely honest. I am 59 years old with a bad back and I could barely lift it up to get it into the trunk of my car. The other thing that I did not like is that the back of the seat does not stay up by itself so you have to hold it up until you get in the seat which is inconvenient if you have to help someone onto the scooter. Lastly I hate the fact that the seat does not swivel, when you are trying to help someone onto the scooter it is difficult with a stationary seat.I would say the engineers need to go back to the drawing board on this scooter. I give it a D-.

Lightweight and easy to use
Lightweight and easy to use.My mom used her scooter with so much ease around the cruise ship . It passes through regular hallways and cabin doors quite easily.

remote controled Hartway Passport mobility scooter
This unit is small and light enough for me to put it in my car. The operation is good and reliable for me. Two things I dislike is not having a basket to carry my portable oxygen and having to remove it from my car to recharge the battery.

Onboard battery charging
you can purchase a 75 watt power inverter adapter for around 25.00 which plugs into your car cigarette lighter and charge your scooter whileyour driving. this is a relatively new version of this product snf its really hard to narrow down accessaries. Hope this helps some customers.The Inverter is not really anhything special and is a relatively universal product.
