Vasconia Tortilla Warmer - Red

Seems to be nice product. Durable. Nice size. I have only used it once so far, but seems fine and it a good value.

This is my third tortilla warmer, and the best. It has a knob on the lid that I can easily get a grip on, for once, and it heats the tortillas so hot that I have to be careful when I lift them out after I've just heated them. True, it doesn't have the depth as the other ones, but it holds all that I need (rated for 8, though I think more will fit), and it may not hold the large flour tortillas that I can't eat anyway (inside of warmer is a snug 8-3/8"), but I just drop in a folded paper towel, squirt it with water, drop in the tortillas, squirt again, attached the lid, and then heat on high for 30 seconds, now, though I have heated for 60. Works so well for me that I look around for excuses to heat up a tortilla. And now that I think about it....

Very plasticky. Hoping for more of a Mexian restaurant look

We bought this when at the same time as a tortilla press for Masa Harina tortillas. I've been making homemade flour tortillas for years and used to just put them on a plate in the toaster oven set on low with a damp paper towel over them. Effective but not ideal. If you are doing that - STOP. Buy this thing instead.It is durable plastic in a nice color. It keeps the tortillas (both flour and Masa) warm for an remarkable amount of time, and just enough steam builds up inside it to keep the tortillas pliable without making them soggy. The indent in the lid makes it easy to store. When I do make a large batch I just flip the lid upside down to make a little extra room inside.I'd hate to have to go back to the way I was doing it before.

Not only can I use for tortillas, but I can also use to keep certain items warm like pancakes, bacon, or any other item that fits in there!

I bought a tortilla press and this warmer, all gung-ho to make homemade corn tortillas. That was early last summer. I made them a few times and put them in the warmer. However, I never made more than about 5 (5 1/2" or so) tortillas at once, and I ate them immediately after cooking the batches. Amazon keeps emailing me, asking me to review this product. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but I'll write an update after I give it a better chance to do its job.

This makes heating up tortillas so simple. I simply put in tortillas, heat in microwave for about 20 minutes and they come out perfectly. Keeps them warm too which is awesome! I highly recommend.
