Aqua Bird Glass Suncatcher

This little aqua birdie is fused with fun and ready to hang from the attached copper wire! When you invite this bird into your life, my hope is that you will smile each time you see it. :) I cut and drill the glass and then start to form the design, in this case the bird. He sits on a little branch surrounded by foliage of frit (ground glass). Then everything is fused in my kiln to about 1300F and properly annealed in digitally controlled kilns. The glass itself measures approximately 2.5" x 3" or 5 cm x 7.5 cm. Each piece is unique and special. "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul." Emily Dickenson
