Review: Las mejores - Justo lo que necesitaba, lo único que no me gusto es que vienen las 5 juntas, entonces tienes que separarla con mucho cuidado si solo necesitas una Review: Great to Have Spare High E Strings - It’s really handy to have a pack of just the high E strings, as that’s the string I seem to break the most. The D’Addario strings are good quality and having five in a pack means I always have spares on hand. They are a little pricey for single strings, but it’s still cheaper and more convenient than buying a whole new set every time I break one string. Definitely worth having a pack around. ## Features - .010 gauge plain steel string for acoustic or electric guitar, 5-pack - Superb, long-lasting tone - Perfect as a replacement string or for creating customized sets - Made in the U.S.A. for the highest quality and performance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00075XAZU | | Body Material Type | Steel | | Brand | D'Addario | | Brand Name | D'Addario | | Coating Description | Uncoated | | Coating description | Uncoated | | Color | Silver | | Colour | Silver | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,526 Reviews | | Finish Type | Uncoated | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00019954936617 | | Hand Orientation | right | | Included Components | 5 Pure Steel Guitar Strings .010 Gauge | | Instrument | Electric Guitar | | Item Type Name | Electric Guitar Strings | | Item Weight | 0.04 Pounds | | Manufacturer | D'Addario & Co. | | Manufacturer Part Number | PL010-5 | | Material Type | Steel | | Model Name | PL010-5 | | Model Number | PL010-5 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 5 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Electric Guitar | | Set Name | 5-Pack, .010 | | Sound Profile | Bright | | String Gauge | Custom Light | | String Material Type | Alloy Steel | | String gauge | Custom Light | | String material type | Alloy Steel | | UPC | 019954936617 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Replace if Defective | ## Product Details - **Brand:** D'Addario - **Colour:** Silver - **Instrument:** Electric Guitar - **String gauge:** Custom Light - **String material type:** Alloy Steel ## Images ![D'Addario PL010-5 Plain Steel Guitar Single String, .010 5-pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41pehvrzlhL.jpg) ![D'Addario PL010-5 Plain Steel Guitar Single String, .010 5-pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719F7+TWKDL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: The .011 strings all came unwound at the ball end after installation. Anyone else have this issue?** A: From my years of selling D'addario strings, this is a very rare problem as opposed to other brands where it is a regular occurrence. Go to their website and I'm sure they will be happy to replace the defective strings. **Q: Why did the single string go from 69 cents or over $4?** A: You are comparing apples and oranges. A string might be $.69 but what was the shipping charge? You have to look at the total price which is why people who only buy items with "free shipping" often pay more than they should. To put a single string in a box (for protection) and ship it the postage is almost $3.00. Do a search for PL010 and you will find various "multi-packs" available. First Stop Music Shop custom packages both 5 and 10 packs of this string. **Q: Are the strings individually wrapped?** A: No, they are in a single poly bag inside the cardboard packet. **Q: Why are the .0135 $8? They are literally $.99 on Daddario's website. The ones being sold by amazon** A: Re-enter your search criteria. I paid $0.89 for individual ones and $3.99 for a pack of 5. From Amaxon. Must be a typo or mis-labeling you found on a page. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Las mejores *by V***Z on 12 June 2022* Justo lo que necesitaba, lo único que no me gusto es que vienen las 5 juntas, entonces tienes que separarla con mucho cuidado si solo necesitas una ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great to Have Spare High E Strings *by G***G on 8 September 2026* It’s really handy to have a pack of just the high E strings, as that’s the string I seem to break the most. Il est pratique d'avoir celle-ci en réserve si l'on ne veut pas changer tout le jeu. ## Frequently Bought Together - D'Addario PL010-5 Plain Steel Guitar Single String, .010 5-pack - D'Addario Guitar Strings - XL Nickel Electric Guitar Strings - EXL110-3D - Perfect Intonation, Consistent Feel, Reliable Durability - For 6 String Guitars - 10-46 Regular Light, 3-Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/342421141-daddario-pl010-5-plain-steel-guitar-single-string-010-5](https://www.desertcart.be/products/342421141-daddario-pl010-5-plain-steel-guitar-single-string-010-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
