The insoles do last up to 8 hours, however these have a shelf life and if you have older ones in your inventory they will not last as long. But fortunately the self life is long, i have used insoles that were 4 years old and still realized about 4 to 5 hours of heat. If your foot is to big to be totally covered by the insole get the toe warmers to place in the front of your boot, and keep the insoles on your instep and heel.
