A: It’s a fluorescent blue when viewed under a UV light

A: Yes. makes oil turn an iridescent blue color.

**Q: How long do you run the engine to mix this stuff?**
A: Not sure what system you are running the dye through but generally I would recommend running for several minutes until your vehicle comes up to temp. That would be especially true if you are checking for a coolant leak so the thermostat has time to open. Good luck to you.
