I was initially excited about this desk, as its metal construction, sturdy manual crank assembly, and low price seemed like a perfect combination. However the bloom is off the rose for a number of reasons:1) The product arrived scratched, but it didn't look like a packaging or handling problem. It seems like in the factory or warehouse it was tossed around without protection.2) Out of 8, one bolt hole is completely stripped (or not threaded at all, it's not clear) and the bolt just slides in and out. It's not structurally unsafe, but doesn't give confidence in construction.3) After 3 days of a couple times raising and lowering, the grommet (the black plastic piece that separates the lower part of the leg from the upper) is binding, causing it to slide out when raising the desk. I "fixed it" by shaving the grommet where it was binding, clamping the grommet as I lowered the desk (to wedge it back in place) and greasing the upper part of the leg to prevent the grommet from binding again and coming out of the lower part of the leg. We'll see if that works long-term.

I receive the package yesterday, it only take me 15 min to install, very easy, the desk base was make of metal material, with adjustable height, I can use regular chair or high chair, very good design, also the desk base very stable, not like others, after 2 months start shaking. I believe that will be my last table desk for my little office, unless I don't like it and keep it at the garage to put my files.

I was a little surprised that a desk top wasn't part of the package but it worked out very well because we had the perfect top in the maintenance shop. It is used daily by several therapists who can adjust it to their preferred working height.

I had to return this product. The box that it arrived in looked like it had been unboxed and repackaged a few times. The metal piece in both leg frames is defective, so the the desk would not raise or lower on both sides. Totally disappointed but love the concept of this desk frame. I'm glad others had better luck. Maybe I just received a damaged one. Off to find another one.

Good value. Like that height adjusting handle can be removed. The only think I didn't like was the packaging. There were areas where the parts had rubbed and paint was scratched or chipped. But the desk itself is great.

Nice value proposition. The Base is heavy, and because of the 4 cross-bars, very stable. The 'disc' feet under it were nice and big, approximately 2 inches in diameter. They spread the weight of the complete desk nicely, while allowing for leveling.I don't raise and lower the desk often, it's normally left at it's highest height, but the adjustment worked well.One of the little black plastic square plugs was cracked, but it didn't affect the function in any fashion. I look forward to using this for years.

I'm happy with this frame, the installation was pretty easy and it works as intended. Got a cheap table top from IKEA and I was able to put together a fully functioning standing desk for under $250. The frame itself is pretty heavy and is stable with my two monitors, a laptop, and a bunch of other stuff.The package could be improved, as the box had some minor damage and one of the legs got a small scratch upon delivery.
