Collapsible Yard Bag Holder, Heavy Duty, Reusable Leaf and Lawn Waste Bag

The design of leaf-bag holder makes it the best I've ever used. I can fill a 45 gallon heavy-duty plastic bag completely up with leaves and debris. With no bottom, the leaf-bag holder slides up as the plastic bag fills. Bungie type cord holds the plastic bag in place. When full, easily slide the bag holder up off the top. The bag holder should last several years because it does not bear the weight of the leaves like leaf barrels with bottoms do. I reused a few plastic bags several times this fall because there is no wear and tear on the bags from lifting them out of leaf barrels with bottoms. Can use same plastic bags next fall. Using my lawn mower, made runs with grass catcher for leaf pick-up, dumped full grass catcher into the bag inside holder. Works slick. (Can't leave paper leaf-bags at city yard-waste facility anyway, so I use paper leaf-bags instead for recycling paper, cans, etc.) Bag/holder collapses for storage with two heavy-duty clips. I don't usually rate products, but I am very happy with this leaf bag holder.

I like that when you are ready to tie up the bag, you simply pull up on the holder. No fighting to get the bag out. It's sturdy and retracts to "flatness" for storage. I had a little trouble with getting a trash bag to fit it, so be sure to buy the largest ones.

This is a great product, especially if you use a leaf vacuum and you need to dump it into a bag. Fits most garbage bags but some require stretching. Spring loaded open but folds up and stores easily.

I generally like this product when I use it correctly. It's a nice size (but I do wish it was taller), it sturdy, when collapsed it takes up very little room and it's light. Vut there are a few caveats.First, if you use a big bag and then move this with the bag inside gravity takes over and the excess bag will come out below the bottom of bag holder. Not a big deal but you have to push everything back up again to sit it down.Speaking of sitting it down; make sure you put it on a flat surface. It's very light (a good thing) but that also means it won't stand up when even on a slight incline (a bad thing).Also, and this is really my problem, don't even think about putting trimmings in the bag if they extend past the top of the holder. The weight on that side of the holder will cause it to fall over. If you cut trimmings up so they stay below the top you should be OK.I'd also like to second the recommendation made by another reviewer concerning the use of paper binders instead of the elastic that comes with the holder. Not only are the large binders easier to use but they hold the plastic bag better than the elastic.

Our house has lots of large trees and we had well over one hundred 35 gallon bags of leaves this year.This tool was a huge help. It is very well thought out - the strap at the top does securely hold your bag in place, and can be pushed out of the way if not needed. The bag is easy to stand up, and also easy to collapse when not in use.I can get a huge amount of leaves in the bags with much less time and bending than previous efforts. It also makes the job easy to do by myself. One of my favorite features that you might overlook is that when the bag is loaded, you can simply lift the leaf mate up (there is no bottom), which means you never have to lift heavy, full bags of leaves.The materials seem very durable and I see no wear at the end of a heavy leaf season.

I wasn’t aware that it only holds garbage bags. I was shopping for complete collapsible bags when this was under that category. Not clearly shown as to being this type

This has been invaluable in picking up leaves by myself. I can drape a 55-gallon trash bag over the bag holder and keep on pilling on the leaves. Once it gets full, all I have to do is tie off the bag and lift up the holder. The bag is held securely. This has made my leaf cleaning task soooooo much easier this fall.

This is fine for small bags but I purchased 55-gallon yard bags and this is just not the right height for it. It's less than half the height of the bags.
