Good. I did some paw print paintings with my small dogs and they came out cute. You will need to buy hangers for them.

Completely flat board canvases, pre primed with gesso.
The first thing to know is that this is not a stretched canvas over a frame, it's actually a white bonded cotton canvas over a flat board. In some ways, this will change your technique, especially when you use heavier brush strokes, as the canvas does not yield to the brush, as the board is completely solid. The canvas feels very fine weave and completely even without any slubs and bumps. It has also been pre-treated with gesso. Gesso is very similar to white acrylic paint, only thinner. It dries hard, making the surface stiffer. Gesso prepares or primes the surface for painting, making the surface slightly textured and ready to accept acrylic paint. Without gesso, the paint would soak into the weave of the canvas.Four canvas boards for £6.49 seems like a good buy to me. Yes, they are small 8-inch square boards and lend themselves to sequence pictures, such as the four seasons, or group images, or just practising techniques. A good product and worth having a few in your kit.

Nice, but a little more expensive.
Great set of canvas boards suitable for drawing and painting. These are not the typical wooden frame canvas, but is stretched and backed on cardboard instead.Quality is good, no damages or anything of the sort, and it's what you would expect from a standard canvas in terms of texture on the fabric.Personally, I don't think they're quite as good as a stretched and framed canvas, as it feels a bit different, but these are still good in quality and you can frame them up for display, which is a good alternative to an actual canvas.I think it's best to stick to acrylic for painting these, and acrylic pens work OK, although they do bleed a bit, which is unfortunate. It's a nice set of boarded canvas, but £6.49 for a set of 4 of these 20 cm x 20 cm is a little more expensive than some other options.

Perfect for a set of four
This set of four 20cmx20cm canvases are thin but solid and provide a great base for painting. They are not your usual thick stretched canvas and instead are very sturdy and ready to use. They are well made and are treated with Acrylic Gesso to allow ease of painting. I am by no means an artist but these canvases seem very good quality to me and allowed me to paint without worry! They arrived packaged tightly together and wrapped in plastic to avoid any damage. I love that they come in a set of four so I can use them for lots of different projects whilst still being good value for money.
