Works as advertised for Surface Pro 4. This was purchased to add an Ethernet port. Ethernet drivers installed automatically without issues. Only complaint is that the cord should be about 1" longer so that it rests flat on the desk rather than partially hanging from USB port when using the keyboard. Aluminum case is well machined.

RJ45 Ethernet USB connection goes dead and does not wake up after prolonged idle period. Web browser Safari will state not connected to internet. Have to unplug and plug in USB connection to make active again. This is on a MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015) MacOS 10.12.4.

I bought this as a quick way to check the data ports on the wall in customers' offices. Plugged into my tablet which is USB only, the LINK and ACTIVITY lights come on if the cable is good and the port is live. Quick troubleshooting!Side benefit, I can hook the tablet up to Ethernet. I like the 3.0 USB compliant rating.

Not much to say but that it works.One thing I'd change is to make the cord slightly longer. But other than that, it works well.I really like that the three USB ports are spaced apart widely enough to plug in devices that take up more room. That makes this unit better than some of the others out there.

It is actually quite slower tahn a integrated port for ethernet, usb ports works fine

A neat convenient strip for multiple devices. I will be going on vacation in two weeks. It is common for me not to have enough outlets in my rooms for all my devices. I will be taking this along.

Does the job works great

With all the great reviews, I was happy when I plugged it in and it SEEMED to work. I noticed my wireless presenter wasn't working as well as it used to, but it couldn't be the USB hug, right? After all, its got 5 stars. Well, after a month of buying wireless tablets and being UNABLE to connect them with my PC, and then sending them back, I finally realized that this hub not only provided inadequate USB ports, but it also was MESSING UP THE COMPUTER'S OWN USB PORTS! I wasted so much time and energy. When I got rid of it, and restarted, everything was back to normal.
