Imagine being able ignite flash paper, flash cotton, or any other flash product at a distance by remote control... Or produce a flash of fire at your fingertips without the use of matches, lighters or any other common igniter, then, rolling up your sleeves and showing your hands completely empty!     This new multi-utility device is very well made and comes complete with remote control. No finger flicking, this unit is electric. This item uses a 9volt battery. Kid's Shows Have a child point a wand at a fire pan and the fire magically ignites. The child has made the magic happen! Stage Produce a rose in a flash and show your hands completely clean. Mentalism Concentrate on a secret message written on a piece of "paper" and it ignites at your fingertips. Close up Bring fire into your street, walk around, or table act. Séances Have a "note" or "written letter" catch fire during a séance. The best part is; you were nowhere near the paper when it caught fire. NOTE: These require a good 9 Volt Energizer battery (not a cheap one).

Let me start by saying that I love what this device does
Let me start by saying that I love what this device does. I use it as a remote igniter, and it does a great job of that. My issues with this product are related to physical quality. I had to return the first one I ordered due to a faulty power switch on the igniter box. I ordered a second unit and the same switch on that one had the tab broken off so that I have to turn it on and off by using a small flathead screwdriver to slide the switch body. In addition to the switches on both units being defective, the batteries in both remote control units were dead on arrival.I returned the first unit and received a refund with no problem, but decided to keep the second broken one since I can still at least turn it on and off. Again, I love what this product does but was very disappointed by it's defects right out of the box.

This thing is so cool! I am not a magician but I used the device with perfect results. The flash paper I bought (from a reputable magic store) came wet and needed to dry. I could not get it to light properly at first, but I believe the paper was still too wet. After letting the paper dry longer I folded one slip in half and that worked!Great product so far.
