Getting another one, to replace the old one.
I bought this over a year ago. Still works! I have a senior, clawless,(she came to me that way), toothless and blind in one eye cat. So she is unable to defend herself and I'm afraid she may pass and I won't be able to find her. Though this item is cheaply made and uses batteries frequently it also, doesn't always beep where I can hear it, but the cat does. When I press the call button she comes running across the yard or from somewhere in the house to me, if she's not asleep.. You do have to be in close range to find her if she doesn't respond. The range is only about 15' to 20'. But it has save me hours of locating time. For she does enjoy sleeping in the strangest places. Last it isn't waterproof, so moisture will cause it not to work. But once it dries out and a new battery it works again.

Works well, does it's job
We bought this for our adventurous and mischievous Maine coon. He likes to wander into the high weeds and woods and not come out when he's called. This makes finding him a breeze and he's even learned that the beep means to head home, we've also sweetened that deal with food and treats so that helps. The reason I'm leaving a review is because I'm about to buy another one for another adventurous babe. Highly recommend.

works...for a month
Have had it for about 6 weeks, never outside, already isn't working.....what a waste

Range is really small, and collar is poorly made. My cat lost it in a week.
