Q: Does the motorcycle need to be flashed after installation?

If it's just the filter only, nah... However, I modified my airbox to remove the restrictor plate(victory octane). After that it's best to flash.. especially if u couple that with slipons or aftermarket as$breathers, umm exhaust. If I was only soley, using kn filter with no other changes, I would not flash. Not worth 400 bux as filter alone wont give u super-duper gains nor losses... u still have a restrictor plate in the filter housing holding u back.

fits great on my 2015 Scout, not positive about the icon brother
