MesaChic DOT016-1 LampCharger The USB Light Socket Power Adapter & Charger

Wow! What a super cool invention! (Wish I thought of it! LOL)I have this in the light socket above my washer/dryer. Why you ask? B/c I wanted to use a USB small fan to help direct the flow of my AC and in the winter, my heat. Normally that one spot is really cool or really warm when I walk in from the garage when the ac/furnace is on.It has a light switch so I can keep the fixture on but the lightbulb off. Caveat: for me, no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the USB to face outward. Maybe it's me??... It's not really a problem but I wanted it to face out. Writing this, I'm not sure why it was so important? The cord (any cord) would be sufficiently long enough.If I could figure out another place to use it, I would definitely purchase this again!

It blew my light socket, becoming ruined as well as ruining my light the very first time I tried to use it. I'm aware that I could probably just have it replaced and the next one I get might work, but honestly when I buy something that's only $20 and it breaks immediately as well breaking something else that I paid for, the hassle just doesn't seem to be worth it. When I buy something I expect it to work and not to break immediately and need replacing. That's my bad experience with this product that seemed like a good idea and probably would be great if it actually worked the first time I bought it. Yours might be better.

Great product and seller! Olens Technolgy was the provider here. The item was smaller than I expected and i saved an outlet. It is powerful enough to power the devices plugged in. I did have an issue at first but Olen Technology went above and beyond to make sure the product and experience was great! 5 stars both for the product and seller! Between my extended family we own at least 10 echo devices and it won't be long until each one is powered by the lamp Champ!

Did what I needed it for. I got an extra echo dot and I figured the most useful place would be in the bathroom. I didn't want it take up room on the counter and take up an outlet too. So I got this crazy idea. I knew there were light fixture adapters that had outlets. I wondered if they made them with USB ports instead. So I came across this. I got this USB charger adapter put it in the middle light on the light fixture above the medicine cabinet and rest the echo on top of the medicine cabinet.Now we basically have a shower speaker that takes requests.

Have as a Christmas gift andRecipient was very impressed by it. He has his Echo dot plugged into it, perfect so perfect to leave that powered while lamp is off. WellMade and certainly works. WillInvest in another for my bedside table.

This USB light socket works very well to charge my phone. I was running out of outlets and this solved the problem. Only have to remember to turn the light off from the socket and not the lamp switch.

I'm not gonna lie- totally thought when this stated that it was for the Echo Dot- I figured it had wifi built-in. I am an idiot and this is only capable of charging an Echo. Regardless- it's nice. I charge my phone on it while I am on my PC and it's nice not having to take up an outlet and have a cord across my floor. I just should have read more carefully but I decided to keep it since it's simple and functional.
