It took my pup a few days to figure what this was all about..but eventually she got it ( with the help of a little pee rubbed all over the grass).It works as it said it would. For me the biggest drawback is can be has to clean..especially because I live in a small apartment. I also find that both the plastic and the grass pad holds on to the pee smell ( and I am super sensitive to smells) so I tend to want to freshen it up every few days. The "run-off" concept is great...and it works..but could be a little better..I find the slope isn't as steep as it could be to force the pee all the way down to the tray..a lot just sits close to the opening and just doesn't transfer down.For now I just place a pee pad right under the grass pad cuz that's a much easier clean up method, except I was really hoping to stop having to buy pee pads..but hey.The grass pad is SUPER absorbent..so much so that ot takes forever to dry when u wash it. I need another one.Otherwise..great product. She loves it!

Only just opened the box, as only just got my 9 weeks old Cockapoo home. Unfortunately can’t give any review on it, my pup refused to go on it, he only willing to do it on the lawn in the garden. He got frightened by the height difference from the garden lawn.

I’ve moved to a place on 10th floor, and taking my doggies out every 3-4 hrs became a pain in the neck. I have a tiny balcony, so I got 2 of these & placed them in the balcony. My doggies weren’t sure initially, but they are now used to going on these. It does get pretty stinky, but I also got urine solidifier/deodorizer, so hopefully it will help with the smell. My only complaint is that the fake grass doesn’t stay in place. It keeps sliding around. I wish there were clips or something to keep it in place.

The removable pee tray is very convenient instead of dumping the entire collection area. The grass pad is great in that it drains well. However I wish they made this with a chew deterrent as my dog likes to eat grass (even fake grass). It's also overpriced.Design flaws: the wall barrier is great but my dog wants to enter perpendicular to the wall barrier: making him miss his urine sometimes. Perhaps a square design would be more useful. A design improvement suggestion: put a small half wall on the side opposite of the pee barrier wall: to encourage entrance parallel to the pee barrier wall. I put up some cardboard wall to do something similar.Another design improvement idea: Velcro is your best friend, use it.I added some Velcro pads to the bottom of the grass pad and the top of the pee collection part. Now the grass pad doesn't slide around.
