The design just feels right in my hands—comfortable, lightweight, and responsive. The layout is intuitive, and everything is within easy reach, whether I’m playing something casual or a fast-paced action game. The analog sticks have a nice amount of resistance, and the triggers feel smooth and responsive. I’ve never had issues with input lag or drifting, and even after heavy use, the buttons still have a satisfying click. The touchpad isn’t used by every game, but when it is, it adds a nice bit of versatility. I also really like the built-in speaker and light bar. It’s small details like those that make the experience feel more immersive. Battery life could be better, though. I usually get around 5 to 8 hours per charge depending on the game and whether the speaker and light bar are being used a lot. It’s not terrible, but I do wish it lasted longer without having to plug in so often. Charging is easy through a micro-USB cable, though I kind of wish it had moved to USB-C like newer controllers. I’ve also used the DualShock 4 on PC and it works great there too, especially with Steam recognizing it right away.
