Utensy Whiskey Stone Set - Set of 9 Grey Whiskey Premium Chilling Rocks

I have owned a lot of whiskey stones and the exes would always talk them so I finally decided to wait to buy a new set until I knew they weren’t going to disappear again. It has been a long time so I forgot which ones worked. I bought this set thinking they were all pretty much the same but these do not work at all. I am inclined to believe that these are not 100% soapstone. I had them in my freezer for about 24 hours before using them. I put 3 in a small glass of whiskey and then walked my dog for about 30 minutes. I came back then drank my scotch and was surprised that it was still room temperature. I ended up using ice cubes instead. To test them out I refroze them and put all 9 in a glass with room temperature water and tested the water every 15 minutes to see if it worked. At the end, the temperature only went down 1 degree… I am extremely disappointed and will most likely be returning these.

Just bought these at a reduced price for an honest review so here it is :) I have purchased these before as Christmas gifts and everyone has loved them! I needed a set for myself because I enjoy a good drink once in awhile. I was very very tired of ice watering down my drink and I am so glad I treated myself! All you have to do is freeze them and they are good to go. I actually like the size better than some of the huge ones I bought because they fit nicely in all different glasses! It is a great way to enjoy your favorite whiskey or for that matter, any drink without diluting it! The package they come in is a nice presentation, especially for gift giving, but honestly I just keep them in a silicone bowl in the freezer. I love this little guys and highly recommend them! The wiskey cubes work great. They freeze quickly and keep the whiskey or whichever alcohol you use nice and cold. No more watered down cocktails. I also used on in a martini and it worked perfectly!! Only problem I had is that when I was trying to rinse them off one fell into the garbage disposer, so I had to hunt for it with my hand. These whiskey stones are great for me as a replacement for ice. They do not melt and therefore the water content of the drink stays constant. Easy to reuse and perfect for traveling. They don't cool the drink as much as ice but I prefer it so I can better taste the flavor. What's the point in buying good whiskey if you just chill it so much you cant taste it anymore?
